Privacy policy

Updated 2026-10-04

This notice describes personal information used by the Pearl & Plume website.

Cookieless Google purchase measurement

Where Google measurement is configured, shopping activity can be measured without analytics or advertising cookies before a choice. Google receives public page details, product and order references, prices, and browser and network information. Customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses and payment details are not included. Optional cookies require approval. For cookieless Google measurement before a choice, temporary Google client and session references can be attached to an unpaid checkout without saving these identifiers in a browser cookie. Our server uses this reference to report a confirmed purchase if the confirmation page closes. The server-side identifiers are removed after 30 days. Saved measurement refusals and browser privacy signals keep this reporting off.

Information involved in browsing

A request for a page or image can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, and security or error information. This technical information is involved in delivering and protecting a website. Referrer information can depend on browser settings and the link used.

Product search filters the published catalogue in your browser. It is not a public messaging channel. Do not enter passwords, payment information or other sensitive details into a search box.

Saved shopping choices

The shopping bag saves product references and quantities in local browser storage. This allows your selections to remain available on that browser. It does not create an account, reserve a product or prove that you paid.

You can remove this data using your browser controls. Clearing site data can remove a saved bag and privacy choices on that device. Restricting storage can affect how these features work.

Questions and customer care

Email support@pearlandplume.com for customer care or a privacy request. We use your email address, message and any order reference you provide to answer your inquiry.

Include only the information needed to explain the issue. For a product problem, a focused photograph of the relevant part is usually more useful than an image containing people, identity documents or unrelated information about your home. A support photo is not permission to publish it as a review or advertisement.

Orders, secure access and payment

Checkout uses product and quantity selections, contact and delivery information, order references, totals and payment outcomes. These records support payment, delivery, fraud prevention, receipts, returns and customer care.

Whop handles payment credentials in its checkout interface. The store receives order references, payment status and outcomes for reconciliation, rather than your full payment-card details. Do not send card details by email.

Secure order access may require the order reference and access to the checkout email. A valid order-access link can expose the associated order details to the person holding it. Keep these links private and do not post them publicly.

Services and disclosure

Services used by this store include Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery and security; Whop: payment processing and shipping-address collection; Resend: transactional email delivery. Information is limited to what each service needs for its role. Hosting and service providers may process information outside your country under their applicable terms and safeguards.

Information may also be used or disclosed where required to meet applicable obligations, protect the service, resolve disputes or investigate misuse. This notice does not authorize unrelated use of customer information.

Optional measurement and marketing

Local product-interest measurement is disabled. Google Analytics, if configured, runs only after you accept optional measurement in the browser notice. Google receives technical and shopping-interaction information; customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses and payment details are excluded from measurement payloads. A separately configured Google advertising feature has a separate choice.

Browsing, searching, adding an item to the bag or emailing customer care does not subscribe you to marketing. Use Privacy choices to manage available optional measurement. Declining it does not prevent shopping.

Retention and your choices

We retain personal information only as long as needed for orders, customer support, security, dispute resolution and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Clearing site data removes your browser’s saved bag and choices; it does not cancel an order or erase server or provider records.

Email support@pearlandplume.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, or to exercise other applicable privacy rights. We may need proportionate verification to protect records from unauthorized disclosure. Do not send full payment-card details or identity documents without a specific legitimate need and secure route.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to obtain a copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant authority. Legal recordkeeping duties and unresolved disputes can limit deletion. No internet service can promise complete security. Keep secure order-access links private. This store is intended for adult purchasers; do not submit children’s personal information.

Optional product interest measurement

With your permission, we count product views and successful additions to the bag by product and UTC date. These are action counts, not unique shoppers or conversion rates. Each event contains only a product ID, event type and a random event ID used to prevent duplicates; it contains no customer name, email, address or payment details. Cloudflare stores the aggregate totals and temporary event IDs. Temporary IDs expire from duplicate checking after 24 hours and are removed in bounded cleanup batches when new events arrive; aggregate totals remain until deleted. No analytics cookie or persistent visitor ID is used for this counter. Optional measurement stays off until you accept, and Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track keeps it off. You can withdraw permission on the Cookie & privacy choices page. Your choice is stored in this browser with its version and timestamp and expires after 180 days. Necessary bag and checkout storage works independently. Any separately configured Google Analytics or advertising measurement uses its own disclosed settings.

Server purchase measurement

With Analytics permission, we save Google client and session identifiers in a first-party cookie for up to 24 hours and attach them to your checkout. Our server uses this link to report confirmed purchases, order references, items and amounts to Google Analytics, even if you close the confirmation page. We schedule these server-side identifiers for removal after 30 days. Advertising use follows your separate advertising choice. Names, email addresses, delivery addresses and payment-card data are excluded from these events. You can withdraw permission on the privacy choices page.

Google measurement before a choice

Before you choose, configured Google tags may send shopping measurements without analytics or advertising cookies. Google receives public page details, store, product and order references, prices, and browser and network information. Customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses and payment details are excluded from these events. For cookieless Google measurement before a choice, temporary Google client and session references can be attached to an unpaid checkout without saving these identifiers in a browser cookie. Our server uses this reference to report a confirmed purchase if the confirmation page closes. The server-side identifiers are removed after 30 days. Saved measurement refusals, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep this reporting off. Analytics and advertising cookies require their respective approval.

Cookie-free purchase reporting

Reject optional on the cookie banner turns off optional cookies and keeps cookie-free purchase reporting on. You can also select Allow cookie-free purchase reporting in Cookie & privacy choices. Google Ads receives a confirmed purchase amount and order reference without analytics or advertising cookies. This separate purchase-only choice does not grant cookie storage, advertising user-data consent or personalization. Google also receives browser and network information. Names, email, delivery addresses and payment details are excluded. You can turn off all optional measurement instead. Existing full refusals, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track remain in effect.
